Willow announces that it has completed the acquisition of
AirZip, Inc. AirZip is a leading provider of enterprise digital rights management software as well as patented compression and image acceleration technology. AirZip security solutions deliver easy to use file and email content protection, providing users with controlled access to confidential or restricted information. AirZip acceleration solutions provide customizable, plug-and-play image acceleration across a wide range of devices, networks and data sources delivering the promise of a dynamic broadband experience over "anyband" to realize greater return on existing infrastructure investments. AirZip solutions are deployed in leading financial, insurance, manufacturing, design, telecommunications and government organizations around the globe. AirZip has its US headquarters in Santa Clara, California with development centers in Beijing, China and Vancouver, British Columbia. AirZip Asia Pacific, headquartered in Hong Kong, is responsible for sales and marketing of AirZip products for the Asian market. AirZip will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Willow Technology. |
