Willow Technology Calls for MQSeries Beta Test Candidates

CAMPBELL, California--September 8, 1998--Willow Technology, Inc. today announced it is seeking Beta test site candidates to test its soon to be released MQSeries v2 server software for SCO OpenServer as well as its MQSeries v5 client software for Silicon Graphics IRIX.

MQSeries allow users to now exchange information with other applications running on any of the more than 30 operating systems supported by the award winning MQSeries. MQSeries delivers application integration throughout the enterprise, by use of a simple, high-level programming interface that shields developers from operating systems and network complexities and enables them to concentrate on application design. MQSeries for OpenServer supports SCO OpenServer releases 5.0.0 through 5.0.5.  The MQSeries v5 Client for IRIX supports the IRIX operating system versions 6.2 through 6.5.

General Availability of MQSeries for OpenServer is expected late November, 1998.  General Availability of MQSeries v5 Client for IRIX is expected early October, 1998.
