IBM MQ simplifies communication between applications running on identical or different platforms across networks. Willow ports MQ to the operating systems IBM does not cover, and keeps older MQ releases running when IBM support ends.
How Willow MQ products work
Willow MQ clients and servers are developed under long-standing licensing agreements with IBM, are owned and supported by Willow, and are sold under the Willow logo. They interoperate with IBM MQ clients and servers on every other platform, so your applications can exchange assured messages across a mixed estate without modification.
Since 2017 Willow has also held primary development and support responsibility for MQ on the OpenVMS platform, taken over from IBM.
